Computing Experience Windows NT Windows '95 Windows 3.11 SQL PLUS RDOS Hexadecimal Word 7 Lotus Notes (user) Employment: 10/96 - present: Contract work Currently under contract to Canon Systems Management Ltd as a Quality Assurance engineer for computer peripherals. This involves testing of Drivers for computer peripherals and testing of programs that use these peripherals for any bugs or errors that may cause the end user problems. Finished products are then cleared for world wide release. It also involves checking the compatibility of software with different operating systems and I have gained further experience with Windows NT, Windows 95 and Word 7. 01/96 - 10/96: Miles 33, Bracknell Redundant Customer Support Representative. Taking and logging customer calls and inputting them on the in-house system. Dealing with the problem or passing it on to a specialist engineer. The systems were mostly data general RDOS based and most repairs were done in Hexadecimal. I also dealt with problems on employers newer systems which were all on a UNIX system and used Oracle 6 and forms 3.0. The majority of work on these systems was SQLPLUS based and involved direct repairs via a modem. 10/93 - 12/95: Barclays Currency Services plc Full-time work as a Grade 2 Treasury Tills Cashier/Purchase and Sales Cashier in wholesale foreign currency department. All work was performed in a high security environment and was governed by strict security procedures. 07/92 - 10/93: Manpower Services, Farnborough, Hants Various temporary assignments, including Barclays Bank plc 06/90 - 07/92 Woolworths plc Saturday staff which lead to full time employment, working in all areas. Hobbies and Interests: I collect and grow carnivorous plants; enjoy reading, and motorcycling. I have recently become interested in re-building Classic Motorcycles.
